The Right to Information Act 2005 empowers every citizen of India to seek information from public authorities. This promotes transparency and accountability in government functioning. Citizens can request information about hospital operations, spending, facilities, and services.
How to Apply for RTI?
Write an Application
Write a simple application in English or Punjabi requesting specific information you need.
Pay the Fee
Pay ₹10 application fee through demand draft, IPO, or cash at the hospital office.
Submit Application
Submit your application along with the fee receipt to the Public Information Officer (PIO) at the hospital.
Receive Information
You will receive the requested information within 30 days. In case of urgent matters, within 48 hours.

₹10 per application
No fee for BPL cardholders. Additional charges may apply for photocopies.
